How the Banks Stole the World

Raging Bull-shit

The little known Spanish film El Concursante (The Contestant) is, to the best of my knowledge, the only feature-length film to have ever seriously tackled the issue of bad economics and how it impacts our lives. Not only that, but it does so in a way that is both entertaining and at times rather funny.

The following scene (with English subtitles) is arguably the film’s most important, since it lays out in the simplest possible terms how the current system of money creation is deliberately designed to transfer the wealth and property of the working masses to the banks, just as is playing out right before our eyes.

If you speak Spanish, you can watch the full movie here.
